The plot continues the events of the novel "The Icarus Effect. For those who haven't read the book by author James Swallow, in Deus Ex: The Fall the developers added prologue with brief introduction to the prehistory. The plot is as follows. The protagonist was a member of a group of Tyrants that Adam Jensen fought.
One day the anti-hero decides to leave the mercenary team, which the organization itself is not happy about. With former operative Anna Caslo, he travels to Panama to see an underground doctor. Both characters wear implants, but their bodies reject these upgrades. Because of this, owners of cybernetic enhancements are forced to take drugs so they don't die in agony.
While searching for the doctor, they accidentally uncover a global conspiracy. In addition to the main narrative, there are 5 side quests. Walkthrough is designed for about hours.
Because of its mobile origin, this project has a more simplified gameplay than the main parts of the franchise. Opponents are not as savvy as the enemies in the larger games in the series.
After a death or stun, the corpses of foes will soon disappear. There is an opportunity to call up the store at almost any time. There you can buy weapons, ammo and other items with in-game currency. The aiming system may take some getting used to. The left mouse button here is to be clamped, not pressed. Then the fighter first takes aim, and then starts firing. The right key is responsible for "diving" into cover. But the visual style remains the same. Pumping and hacking works here along the same lines as in Jensen's Adventures.
